Day 3

I had just woken up when I realised everyone was out of bed cleaning up for cabin inspection. In a bragging manner, I got out of bed and got dressed as calm as calm because the night before I had cleaned all my things up. About half an hour later, the whistle blew, breakfast time. After breakfast, we had a ten-minute break, then again the whistle blew. This time it was for the start of activities. First up for our group was the Multivine. As soon as we got there, we got stuck in. The Multivine is two pieces of cable held up by two trees with some ropes (aka vine) in the middle to hold on to. As fast as a speeding bullet we were done. Next up we had Camera activities with Mrs Fa’amamafa, which is where we got all the photos from. Then we got down right muddy with the Confidence Course where every obstacle involves mud. Time to head for the showers!!!
After a nice warm shower, we had lunch, mmmm…pies. Then it was Archery, our last activity for the day, and there was really only one word for that activity, EPIC! And now I’m here talking to you at Diary Writing. So, so long and good night.

Wow, what a day! I’ve joined a legion of sludge monsters, become an official member of the Paparazzi, turned into Robin Hood and got an AUTHENTIC cooking experience.
Confidence Course! Sounds easy enough, looks easy enough, but unfortunately, it’s completely not easy enough! If you just so happen to like being covered in mud and your feet squelching in it for an hour and a half, then this is the activity for you! Otherwise…well…too bad. But for me, it was the definite highlight of the day.
Archery and Camera. Wow, where do I start? How about Archery! Archery rocked, definitely one of the highlights of the day and when the time came for the competition, the girls of course, came out on top!
Cameras! I’ve never had quite so much fun. I mean, what could be better than purposely catching someone off guard, and then having the liberty of keeping that one memory forever!
Cooking. You can’t get any more authentic than having the privilege to cook food on fire, and as you might have already guessed, we had that special privilege. And though our food was burnt and charred, nothing could be better!
Over and out.
